Things I've learned: Slope day edition

This weekend I went back to Cornell in Ithaca for the weekend to go to slope day, which is a drunken celebration on the last day of classes. The university essentially promotes this debauchary and throw us a concert to pass out during. Here are some things that I've learned while visiting my friends and the school
  • Drinking beer in the morning is disgusting. Even if it is the always smooth, refreshing taste of classy beers like Keystone Light or Pabst Blue Ribbon
  • But burgers for breakfast are amazing. You should seriously try it. I'm worried that the breakfast market will soon be suffering.
  • Learn to dance. It will make events approximately 2/3rds more fun. Social events will eventually lead to music. Music will eventually lead to dancing. I ended up going to 4 impromptu dance parties, and knowing how to dance (outside of my two patented moves) would have been useful.
  • Pretty girls aren't going to talk to themselves. So you should.
  • Don't knock it till you rock it. I went to a heavy metal concert with Andrew, knowing that I would hate it. I knew that it would be a really shady venue, that I would would be the only person wearing a color other than black and that I would emerge from this whole thing with a loose tooth and a prison shank sticking out of my side. I ended up loving it.

very wise.

Re: Jokes; I've had the most luck with the one about the two flies. Good seeing you yesterday and hanging out on Friday. I hope this idea of hamburgers for breakfast isn't the next meal to which you look forward.
