For lent this year, the pope has a special request for the people. Instead of giving up smoking, meat or breathing (the easy stuff), he has asked catholics to give up twitter, social networking sites and text messaging. This request would have held more weight if Pope Benedict the 16th hadn't used YouTube to warn against the obsessive use of electronic communication. I can't wait to see what he says about it on his myspace page.
