Its 2010 and we don't have jetpacks yet. Cars can't even drive through water. Am I the only one that feels cheated?

I know I have sort of been blogging lately, but it is now officially 2010 (with the official start of the work week). I think I am going to work on some more structured posts. Its going to take me a couple of years to get caught up on e-mail that I've neglected over the past few days, so be gentle.

1 minute: My sister to respond to my funny text message

1 hour: Eating (i feel like eating may be too soft of a word- inhaling) breakfast/lunch (although I may be watching up in the air at the time)

1 day: The Jets may make the playoffs. Can't wait to watch them in primetime.

1 week: Honduras. Less than a week, actually. I'm a little nervous.

1 fortnight: Being a second semester senior (hopefully)

1 month: Getting ready for spring break? Wait, is that too soon? Oh yeah, I always forget that February is the WORST month of the year, and so theres nothing to look forward to.

1 year: 2011

I'm don't get the whole anti-new years movement. Yeah, it may just be an ordinary night during the beginning of winter that is often a let down in terms of a party night, but I think its really important that people get this demarcation for a fresh start. Maybe its just waxing philosophic, but starting over is a powerful feeling.

Either way, I am shocked that I've lived through two full decades already. The 90s were dope. The aughts were alright. Heres to the 10s being awesome.
